Role Description The Junior Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. This role involves assisting in daily production activities, monitoring manufacturing processes for steel strips, chains, and precision tubes, and supporting senior engineers with process optimization and quality checks.

The Junior

Engineer will help implement standard operating procedures, collect and analyze production data, and contribute to troubleshooting equipment or process issues.

Responsibilities also include coordinating with maintenance and quality teams,



preparing basic technical documentation, and following safety and compliance guidelines on the shop floor.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in mechanical, production, or industrial engineering principles, preferably with exposure to metal forming or steel manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, process charts, and basic engineering documentation.
- Familiarity with quality control practices, measurement tools, and basic problem-solving methods for process improvement.
- Comfort working in an on-site industrial environment, following safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn from senior team members.
- Basic computer skills for data entry, reporting, and use of standard office or engineering software; experience with MS Excel or similar tools is an advantage.

- Previous internship or project experience in manufacturing or fabrication is beneficial but not mandatory.
