Role Description This full-time, remote Junior Accounting Analyst role supports the finance and consulting teams with core accounting and analytical tasks based in Lucknow, India.

The Junior Accounting

Analyst will assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, recording and verifying journal entries, and reconciling accounts. The role involves supporting financial analyses, helping interpret financial data for client reports, and contributing to economic and business research projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities,



and collaborating with senior consultants to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. The position requires proactive communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Finance knowledge, including familiarity with core accounting principles and financial processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements to support accurate reporting and client deliverables.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting), including recording, posting, and reconciling transactions.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support evidence-based recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting software; strong Excel skills are highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a remote environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional and client-facing teams.
- Interest in UAE business and regulatory environments; prior exposure to consulting or financial services is an advantage.
