HackIndia is looking for a driven Partnerships & Sponsorships Intern to work closely with our core team on building and managing partnerships with technology companies, startups, developer tools, and enterprise brands.

HackIndia operates one of India’s largest hackathon ecosystems, bringing together developers, students, founders, and builders through in-person and virtual hackathons across India.
This is a 3-month unpaid internship with hands-on exposure to B2B partnerships, sponsorship sales, business development, and the developer ecosystem.

What you’ll do:
• Research and identify companies that could be potential HackIndia sponsors or technology partners.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective sponsors across AI, SaaS, developer tools, cloud, fintech, Web3, cybersecurity, and other technology sectors.
• Reach out to founders, marketing teams, developer relations teams, community teams, and partnership leads through email, LinkedIn, Discord, and other channels.
• Assist in creating customized sponsorship proposals based on a company’s goals, products, target audience,



and developer adoption strategy.
• Follow up with prospective partners and help move conversations from initial outreach to meetings and sponsorship discussions.
• Coordinate with the HackIndia leadership team on ongoing partnership conversations and negotiations.
• Help identify opportunities for dedicated branded hackathons, challenge tracks, developer activations, workshops, API adoption campaigns, and community programs.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, follow-ups, proposals, and partnership status.
• Support existing sponsors and help identify opportunities to expand partnerships into larger or recurring programs.
• Research competitor ecosystems, developer communities, and emerging companies to identify current partnership opportunities.
