Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java 18, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting scalable enterprise-level backend applications and APIs. The candidate should have hands-on experience with cloud technologies, CI/CD processes, testing frameworks, and production support in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Build high-performance, reusable, and scalable RESTful APIs and web services.
- Integrate backend services with internal and external systems.
- Work closely with architects, frontend developers, and clients to define technical solutions and implementation approaches.
- Optimize application performance and ensure application reliability and scalability.
- Develop and execute unit test cases using JUnit, Mockito, and PowerMock.
- Participate in production support activities, troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution.
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like New Relic and Splunk.
- Work in Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and cloud-based environments.
- Follow CI/CD processes and deployment best practices.
- Collaborate within Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Lead and mentor team members when required.
- Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams for successful project delivery.
- Use JIRA for defect tracking, sprint planning,



and Agile workflow management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Java Web/Enterprise application development.
- Strong expertise in Java 18, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices.
- Experience with Spring Cloud and Spring Batch.
- Strong understanding of REST and SOAP web services.
- Hands-on experience with Maven and enterprise application deployment.
- Experience with Cassandra database.
- Solid understanding of design patterns and N-tier architecture.
- Experience with Spring Security and SSO implementation.
- Hands-on experience with JUnit, Mockito, and PowerMock.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) environments.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as New Relic and Splunk.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
