: ITIL Process Owner/ ITIL Product Owner

Product Managers are the voice of the customer and responsible for defining and championing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our products. They collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing,

and sales, to bring innovative and user-centric products to market.

Responsibilities

- Market Awareness & Competitive Analysis:

● Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs,

industry trends, and competitive landscape.

● Identify opportunities and unmet needs in the market.

● Analyze competitor products and strategies to identify strengths,

weaknesses, and potential differentiators.

● Stay informed about new technologies and their potential impact on the product.

● Share market insights and competitive analysis with the team to inform product strategy and development.

- Requirement Specifications:

● Gather and prioritize product requirements from various sources, including customer feedback, market research, and internal stakeholders.

● Define and document detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases.

● Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog that aligns with the product vision and roadmap.

● Clearly communicate product requirements to the development team through user stories, specifications, and presentations.

● Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.

- Planning and Prioritization:

● Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the long-term vision and strategic direction for the product.

● Prioritize features and initiatives based on their value to the customer,

business impact, and technical feasibility.





● Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.

● Create and manage product release plans, ensuring timely and effective product launches.

● Collaborate with engineering and marketing teams to plan and execute product launches and go-to-market strategies.

- Tracking Development & Release:

● Actively participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.

● Monitor and track the progress of product development, ensuring that projects stay on schedule and within budget.

● Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues and remove roadblocks.

● Conduct product testing and quality assurance to ensure that the product meets the defined requirements and quality standards.

● Oversee the release process, ensuring that new features and updates are launched smoothly and effectively.

○ Monitor post-release performance and gather customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.

5 Essential requirements:

● BE/B. Tech and MBA (IT/Operations)

● Minimum IT experience required is 5 – 7 years out of which at least 2 – 4

years in ITIL® process functional consulting domain or at least 3 – 5 years

ITIL® Process owner/manager experience

● Hands-on work experience on at least one Service Management tools like

BMC Remedy, BMC Remedyforce, ServiceNow, HPSM or any other equivalent industry standard ITSM tool

● Solid analytical, documentation and presentation skills

● Strong understanding of agile development methodologies.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team

● Proven people management skills for Small teams

● Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, including business writing skills

● Customer and service focused approach

● Experience of performance data analysis of ITIL® processes

● ITIL® Expert/Intermediate/Foundation modules Certified
