Position Overview The IT Professional – Team Lead (Junior Level) will be responsible for supporting software development, database management, application maintenance, implementation, and technical support activities. The role requires close coordination with project teams to ensure timely delivery of applications and adherence to SDLC processes, security standards, and organizational guidelines.

The candidate should possess hands-on experience in Java-based application development, MySQL database management, troubleshooting, and production support activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Support software development, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance activities.
- Develop and maintain applications using Java and related technologies.
- Manage and support MySQL / MSSQL databases, including query optimization, performance tuning, backup, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in requirement analysis, coding, debugging, documentation, and application enhancement activities.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC processes, coding standards, audit requirements, and security guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors for issue resolution and project execution.
- Provide application and production support, including troubleshooting and bug fixing.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, user manuals, and status updates.
- Support system integration, migration, and deployment activities as required.
- Assist in implementing process improvements and system enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

- Engineering Degree i.e. B.E. / B.Tech. in IT or Computer Science / MCA from a recognized University or Institution with hands on IT related activities / jobs
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in software development, application support, or IT operations.
- Working knowledge of Java, MySQL / MSSQL, and SDLC processes is mandatory.
- Experience in production support, troubleshooting, and application maintenance will be preferred.
- PMP Certification or equivalent project management certification will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of web application architecture and API integration.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and deployment processes.
- Exposure to security compliance, audit observations, and vulnerability remediation activities.
- Experience working in Government / PSU / large enterprise IT environments will be preferred.
