About CIB Operations – US Settlements and Asset Servicing

Overall purpose of role The US Settlements and Asset Servicing Retained Team is responsible for:
- External & Internal Client Fail Management for Americas Securities
- Act as SME in assiting Third Party utilities remediate and resolve aged depot breaks and fails
- Managing the day-to-day performance of a Third Party Utility to ensure BAU processing for client and mitigating processing Risk
- Incident and Risk Event Management
- Serving as process subject matter expert and an escalation point for Internal and External Clients
Key Accountabilities
· Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Performance Reporting to Senior Management
· Management of processing issues, risk events, KPI's and KRI's and mitigating risk
· Utility Relationship Management
· Day to day risk and performance management of the services provided by the Utility
Risk and Control:
All Barclays colleagues have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.
Stakeholder Management and Leadership
· Co-Chair Service Delivery and Change Review Committee attended by Senior Management from Barclays and the Utility
· Escalation point of contact for internal and external clients regarding the Utility Performance to ensure a high level of service for all stakeholders

· Prioritsation of Industry and Firm projects and initiatives
Risk and Control Objective

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
- Basic Qualifications o BA or BS or equivalent experience o 3-5 or more years experience in Financial Services, supporting clients o 1-2 or more supervisory experience
Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
o Demonstrated effectiveness managing and developing people o Proficient with Microsoft Office, in particular advanced Microsoft Excel and PowePpoint skills o Strong communication skills (oral and written) to be able to effectively communicate with multiple levels o Ability to multitask in a rapid-paced environment o Works collaboratively o Able to quickly identify Risk and Compliance Issues
