As a Backend Developer, you will join a collaborative engineering team for a four-month contract focused on building reliable, scalable backend solutions. You will design and develop Python-based services, RESTful APIs, and microservice architectures supporting modern cloud environments. The role offers hands-on exposure to Microsoft Azure, with opportunities to work across cloud deployment, automation, testing, and infrastructure. You will contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from architecture discussions and implementation to testing, deployment, and code reviews. Working in an Agile/Scrum environment, you will collaborate with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders in English. The position is well suited to a mid-to-senior backend engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges and working with modern cloud-native technologies.

Accountabilities:
Design, develop, maintain, and optimize robust backend services using Python.
Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices following contemporary backend engineering and architectural practices.
Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions primarily using Microsoft Azure, including services such as App Services, Functions, AKS, and Storage.
Apply cloud architecture principles to improve application scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows to support efficient and reliable software delivery.
Develop, containerize, deploy, and operate applications using Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
