CVT – Cardiovascular Technology
MLT – Medical Laboratory Technology

Position : Technician – Allied & Health Care

Key Responsibilities
Assist faculty members and students during practical classes, demonstrations, and laboratory sessions.
Operate, maintain, and ensure the proper functioning of laboratory/clinical equipment related to the respective specialization.
Prepare laboratories, practical areas, equipment, instruments, and consumables for academic and practical sessions.
Ensure proper cleaning, sterilization, disinfection, handling, and storage of equipment and instruments, wherever applicable.
Maintain inventory, stock registers, equipment records, and other departmental documentation.
Ensure compliance with prescribed safety, hygiene, infection-control,



and laboratory protocols.
Report equipment faults, maintenance requirements, and shortages of consumables to the concerned authority.
Support the smooth functioning of departmental laboratories and practical facilities.
Perform any other duties related to academic and laboratory activities as assigned by the University.

Qualification & Experience
Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant specialization (AOTT/CVT/MLT) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Relevant experience in a hospital, medical college, diagnostic laboratory, clinical/laboratory setup, or educational institution will be preferred.
Candidates possessing sound practical knowledge and hands-on experience with relevant equipment and procedures will be given preference.
Freshers with relevant qualifications and solid practical knowledge may also be considered.
