Job Summary
This role will lead and manage all aspects of student placements and industry partnerships, building and strengthening relationships with industry partners to create valuable opportunities for students. The role involves developing strategic industry networks, understanding evolving industry needs, fostering long-term corporate partnerships, and ensuring alignment between industry expectations and academic excellence to drive successful placements, career opportunities, and industry engagement for students.

Job Responsibilities

Industry Partnerships & Networking:
Develop and manage strategic partnerships with global and local design agencies, brands, creative firms, and industry leaders finding ways to contribute to the industry and build the reputation of BITS Design School.




Identify and establish current relationships with key industry stakeholders to create opportunities for student placements, internships, and collaborative projects.
Foster long-term relationships with industry partners, ensuring ongoing engagement and collaboration with the school.

Industry Placement Program Development:
Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive industry placement strategy that integrates internship opportunities, live industry projects, and work placements within the curriculum.
Coordinate with faculty and academic departments to incorporate industry placements as part of the student’s academic experience and ensure alignment with course goals and learning outcomes.
Develop processes for industry partners to offer student placements, internships, and employment opportunities.
