Job Objective

The Head – Community, Teams & Fan Engagement will be responsible for building the basketball ecosystem around the India Basketball League (IBL) by driving grassroots participation, fan engagement,



community development, and city-based marketing initiatives.
This role will work closely on the league and the six city franchises for the inaugural season of IBL to establish strong local identities, create meaningful fan experiences, and develop long-term relationships with schools, colleges, basketball communities, and fans.

Primary responsibilities

Community Development

Develop and implement a year-round community engagement strategy for the league and its franchises.
Build relationships with schools, colleges, academies, basketball associations, and community organizations to plan and implement a calendar of fan engagement events.
Identify opportunities to expand participation and visibility for basketball across India.
Support grassroots programs that contribute to the growth of the sport.
