Title: AI Intern

Required Educational Qualification: BTech / MTech / PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science or a related field

Job Objective:

As an AI Intern, you will work with the AI team on real-world machine learning and artificial intelligence problems. You will get an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to large-scale datasets, experiment with modern AI/ML techniques,



and contribute to building intelligent solutions for Naukri’s products and users.

As an AI Intern, you will:

- Assist in developing and implementing machine learning and AI solutions for business problems.

- Work with structured and unstructured data, including resumes, job descriptions, profiles, and user behaviour data.

- Explore and experiment with machine learning, deep learning, NLP, information retrieval, recommendation systems, and generative AI techniques.

- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, model development, evaluation, and experimentation.

- Research and evaluate existing and emerging AI/ML techniques and identify their applicability to business problems.

- Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate potential AI-driven solutions.

- Work with large datasets and contribute to data pipelines and model evaluation frameworks.

- Define appropriate metrics and analyze model performance to identify areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with AI Scientists, engineers, and product/business teams to understand problems and develop data-driven solutions.

- Document experiments, findings, and results and contribute to technical discussions.

Required Skills:

- Solid fundamentals in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, or Artificial Intelligence.





- Good understanding of core machine learning concepts and commonly used algorithms.

- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with relevant ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or similar.

- Good problem-solving and analytical skills with a research-oriented approach.

- Familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation, and experimentation.

- Understanding of basic concepts in NLP, Information Retrieval, Recommendation Systems, or Generative AI will be an advantage.

- Ability to learn new concepts quickly and work independently on technical problems.

Desired Skills:

- Prior academic projects, research work, or internship experience in AI/ML.

- Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs), embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, or RAG.

- Familiarity with working on large-scale datasets or distributed data processing.

- Research papers, publications, or contributions to relevant open-source projects will be an advantage.

- Ability to understand business problems and translate them into data-driven AI/ML solutions.
