Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Lucknow.

The Interior

Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing interior design solutions for government and cultural projects, including space planning, selection of materials and finishes, and coordination of FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment). Day-to-day tasks include preparing design presentations, collaborating with architects and engineers, producing construction and detail drawings, and ensuring designs comply with project standards and regulations. The role involves regular site visits to review implementation,



coordinate with contractors and vendors, and resolve design issues as they arise.

The Interior

Designer will also contribute to design documentation, cost-conscious solutions, and quality control to maintain S.N. & Company’s standards of performance.

Qualifications

- Solid Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to develop functional and aesthetically aligned layouts for diverse project types.
- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to read, interpret, and produce technical drawings and details.
- Experience with FF&E; selection and specification, ensuring durability, compliance, and alignment with project design intent.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and familiarity with presentation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong visualization, creativity, and attention to detail, with the ability to translate concepts into clear design documentation.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, adhere to timelines, and adapt to site-related challenges; experience with government or heritage projects is an advantage.
