Chaudhary created a unique business model, which provides livelihood to the artisans at their doorstep. This changed the standard practice of involving middlemen to work with artisanal communities. The company currently has a network of over 40,000 artisans spread across 600 rural Indian villages in five states of India. It has an end-to-end business model, right from sourcing of wool to exporting a finished handmade rug.

Key Responsibilities

- Attend walk-in customers and understand their design and furnishing requirements
- Provide product recommendations based on customer preferences, space planning, and interior aesthetics
- Assist customers in selecting rugs, home décor, furniture, and related products
- Prepare design presentations, mood boards, and product suggestions when required
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets




- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, architects, and interior designers
- Conduct follow-ups with prospective customers and convert inquiries into sales
- Maintain showroom displays and ensure products are presented attractively
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, delivery, and customer support
- Stay updated on interior design trends, materials, colors, and market development
- Handle customer queries and provide excellent after-sales support

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong design sensibility and creativity
- .Excellent knowledge of space planning and aesthetics.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, V-Ray, 3D Max, or similar design software.
- Good understanding of materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes.
