Vrishti Designs is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Interior Design Drafter to join our team on a full-time remote basis.

The ideal candidate should have a strong command of AutoCAD and a good understanding of interior design detailing and construction. You will be responsible for converting design concepts and 3D visualizations into accurate, detailed, and execution-ready working drawings for residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed 2D working and execution drawings for interior projects.

Develop furniture layouts, partition layouts, flooring plans, ceiling plans, and other technical drawings.

Prepare detailed wall elevations, sections, joinery and furniture drawings.

Prepare door, window, and other architectural/interior details and schedules.

Develop drawings based on design concepts, 3D visualizations, site measurements, and design specifications.

Coordinate drawings with design requirements and other consultants/services.

Incorporate revisions based on client, designer, and site feedback.

Maintain proper drawing standards, dimensions, annotations, layers, and documentation.

Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and suitable for site execution.

Coordinate remotely with the design and project teams to resolve drawing and detailing requirements.

Requirements





1–3 years of relevant experience in interior design drafting / working drawings.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.

Good understanding of interior construction, materials, furniture detailing, and execution.

Ability to understand and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dimensions and technical documentation.

Ability to work independently in a remote working environment and meet project deadlines.

Valuable communication and coordination skills.

Preferred / Additional Skills

Knowledge of SketchUp, Coohom, or other 3D/design software will be an advantage.

Experience working on residential and/or commercial interior projects.

Understanding of electrical, plumbing, ceiling, and other service coordination will be a plus.
