Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Executive role based in Srinagar.

The Insurance

Executive will engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their insurance needs and recommend suitable SBI Life products across protection, savings, pension, and health solutions.

Responsibilities include explaining policy features and perks, supporting customers through the application and documentation process, and assisting with premium payments and policy servicing queries.



The role also involves maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring high service standards, and coordinating with internal teams and distribution partners to resolve issues promptly.

The Insurance

Executive will work towards business targets, contribute to branch growth, and uphold compliance with regulatory and company guidelines in all interactions.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Communication abilities.
- Knowledge of Insurance products and processes, with understanding of Insurance Brokerage practices.
- Basic to intermediate Finance knowledge, enabling clear explanation of premiums, benefits, and returns.
- Ability to build trust, manage relationships, and work towards sales and service targets in a structured environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field; relevant insurance certifications are an advantage.
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for policy servicing, reporting, and customer interaction.
- Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and ability to comply with regulatory and company policies.
- Prior experience in life insurance, financial services, or customer-focused roles is preferred but not mandatory.
