Role Description This full-time Industrial Safety role at SAFETY OFFICER is an in office position based in Uttar Pradesh, India. The role involves monitoring workplace conditions, conducting routine safety inspections, and identifying hazards to ensure compliance with safety and health regulations. Daily tasks include delivering safety training, supporting the development and implementation of safety policies, and maintaining accurate records of safety activities and incidents.
The role also requires investigating accidents and near misses, recommending corrective actions, and collaborating with operations teams to improve safety performance.
The Industrial
Safety professional will work with management and workers to promote a strong safety culture and continuous risk reduction.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Occupational Health principles, with the ability to apply them in industrial environments.
- Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) programs, including regulatory compliance and environmental risk management.
- Skills in Safety Training, including planning and delivering training sessions for diverse workforce groups.
- Proficiency in Accident Investigation, incident reporting, and root cause analysis to develop practical preventive measures.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Indian safety regulations, standards, and best practices for industrial operations.
- Strong observation, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide teams on safety matters.
- Ability to work on-site in industrial settings and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Professional certifications in safety or EHS (such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are an advantage.
