Job Title: IBM MQ Admin

Role / Designation: 5A / 5B

Location: ( Hyderabad ,Chennai, Noida )

Years of Experience: 7 to 10 Years

- Perform MQ Administration, UNIX Shell scripting, Infrastructure monitoring and alarming
- Installation, configuration, and administration of Server set-up and mgmt.; Infrastructure and Workplace migrations
- Performance tuning, Capacity management for organic and inorganic growth, and Fault/Trouble mgmt.
- Support ongoing Production and non-production application environments, and upcoming projects. Management of critical systems / systems processes and problem resolution /escalations of data networking and system management issues
- Work closely with analysts, developers, quality assurance, and production support team members to align projects and orchestrate resolutions on open issues / defects
- Ensure systems implementations occur in accordance with established Change Control procedures
- Proactively communicates status reports and report issues to manager with a game plan of resolution
- Measuring/Monitoring and metrics for our applications and infrastructure
- Provide solutions that meet security compliance and demonstrate reusability, scalability, and Open Architecture standards
- Experience on Nastal Navigator tool and Nastel AutoPilot




- Experience with deploying IBM MQ in Kubernetes containers
- IBM certified MQ/MQFTE on various platforms like Linux, AIX, SUN Solaris, and Windows server
- Experience in Designing and building MQ Solutions
- Extensive experience in installation and configuration of MQ and MB.
- Experience working in full life cycle projects.
- Strong experience in administration and maintenance of MQ and MB infrastructure.
- Experience in implementing different types of MQ communication like Distributed queuing, Clustering, Client-server.
- Experience in implementing and supporting high availability
- Experience in setting up Message broker Infrastructure (Creating brokers, execution groups, DSNs, configuring SSL with webservices) .
- Bar file deployment on Message broker through broker toolkit and command line.
- Experience in writing shell scripts for automating administrative tasks in MQ.
- Experience in troubleshooting using MQ error logs, MQ trace and/or application logs.
- Experience in procuring certificates for SSL (keystore and csr creation, installation of certs).
- Experience in analyzing message flow and troubleshooting message failures.
- Experience in documentation and usage of tools like VISIO.
- Experience in administering other MQ like Apache Kafka.
