Role Description The Hydraulic Service and Commissioning Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves installing, commissioning, and servicing hydraulic systems and related equipment at customer locations, ensuring proper functioning and performance. The engineer will conduct electrical and hydraulic testing, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and prepare service and commissioning reports.
Daily responsibilities include coordinating with project and sales teams,
supporting customers with technical guidance, and adhering to safety and quality standards. The role also requires regular interaction with clients to understand their requirements and provide timely, effective service solutions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Testing and Testing of hydraulic and associated systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis for hydraulic and electrical equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills relevant to Commissioning Engineers, including system start-up, performance verification, and documentation.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering and practical application in industrial environments.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent technical field).
- Experience in hydraulic systems, industrial machinery, or motion and control products is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and OEM manuals.
- Robust customer service orientation, communication skills, and willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Commitment to safety practices and adherence to relevant industry and company standards.
