Zynence

Noida

Location: Noida (On-site)

Company: Zynence Labs Pvt. Ltd.

Duration: 2–6 months (flexible, based on your academic commitments)

Employment Type: Internship

About Zynence

Zynence is building an AI-native, full-lifecycle hardware engineering platform. A connected workspace that takes a hardware product from requirements and system architecture through BOM/cost, firmware, schematic/PCB, simulation, validation, and manufacturing. We're a small, early-stage team growing quickly, which means the person in this role won't be handling a narrow slice of HR, you'll help build the HR function itself, alongside the founders.

Role Overview

We're looking for an HR Intern to plan and execute recruitment, onboarding, and day-to-day HR coordination as we grow the team. You'll own real parts of the hiring pipeline, not just admin support for someone else's process, from sourcing and screening candidates through to getting new hires set up and settled in. This is a hands-on role at a startup where things are still being figured out: you'll help build the processes as much as run them.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

- Draft and post job openings across LinkedIn, Naukri, and other relevant platforms.
- Source and screen candidates for open roles, using both inbound applications and proactive outreach.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and the hiring team.
- Maintain a candidate pipeline tracker and keep applicants informed at each stage of the process.
- Support salary/offer discussions and documentation in coordination with the founders.

Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle
- Plan and run onboarding for new hires — documentation, systems access, introductions, and first-week schedules.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation (offer letters, contracts, ID/verification paperwork).

- Act as a point of contact for new joiners during their first few weeks.
- Support offboarding processes when needed, ensuring a clean handover and exit documentation.

HR Coordination & Operations
- Maintain HR trackers — headcount, open positions, interview pipelines, onboarding status.
- Help coordinate internal communication, team announcements, and basic HR policies.
- Support attendance, leave tracking, and other day-to-day HR administration.
- Assist with organizing team events, check-ins, or culture-building activities as the team grows.

Qualifications

Required

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - you'll be the first point of contact for many candidates and new hires.
- Comfortable with spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel) for tracking pipelines, records, and schedules.
- Organized and detail-oriented - able to juggle multiple candidates, timelines, and documents without letting things slip.
- Trustworthy with confidential information - HR work involves sensitive personal and compensation data.

Preferred
- Prior internship or hands-on experience in HR, recruitment, or people operations.
- Familiarity with recruitment platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Instahyre, or similar) and applicant tracking approaches.
- Comfort using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to speed up screening, scheduling,

and documentation work - we use AI heavily across the company and like people who do too.
- Genuine interest in startup environments and building processes from scratch rather than following an existing playbook.

What We Look For

- Ownership - you follow a candidate or a new hire through to the end, not just to the next step in your task list.
- Judgment and discretion - you handle sensitive information (compensation, personal details, performance conversations) with care.
- People-oriented - you enjoy talking to candidates and helping new hires feel welcome, not just processing paperwork.
- Comfort with ambiguity - this is an early-stage company; processes will be incomplete and priorities will shift.
- Transparent communication - with candidates, new hires, and founders alike.

Duration & Logistics

This is a 2–6 month internship; the exact duration is flexible and can be structured around your academic schedule (semester breaks, part-time alongside coursework, or a dedicated full-time block). In office at our Noida office.

Why Join Zynence?

- Build the HR function at an early-stage company from the ground up — your work will shape how we hire and onboard people, not just execute someone else's process.
- Direct exposure to founders and hiring decisions, not a narrow HR-admin role buried in a large company.
- Real ownership over recruitment and onboarding for a live, growing team — not a shadow/observation internship.
- Broad exposure to how an early-stage tech startup actually operates, beyond HR alone.
