ABOUT PRACTICE BY NUMBERS

Practice by Numbers is a dental practice management SaaS platform serving over
1,500 practices across North America — practice management software, VOIP,
payment processing, analytics, and AI-powered patient communication. Our users
are dentists, front-desk staff and office managers who live inside our product
all day, under time pressure.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a UX Designer to own end-to-end product design — from problem
framing and user flows through to high-fidelity UI and developer handoff. This
is a hands-on IC role on a small design team: you will be the design presence in
Gurugram, working directly with Product Managers and engineers here, and
reporting to our Senior Designer in the US.

You'll design across the platform: the AI Receptionist (voice and SMS patient
conversations), Online Appointment Booking, Campaigns, Payments, PracticeIQ
analytics, the current web app layout experience, and our mobile and front-desk
kiosk apps.



Real workflows, real constraints — multi-tenant software, dense data
screens, and staff who need to complete a task in seconds, not minutes.

Reports to: Senior Designer (US-based)

Location: Gurugram, India — this role is open in Gurugram only

Work Mode: In-office

Working Hours: Primarily IST (10 AM – 5 PM), with some evening overlap with US
teams (until 9–11 PM IST) as needed

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Design
* Turn product requirements and user problems into flows, information
architecture, wireframes and high-fidelity UI in Figma
* Design for web, responsive web, mobile and kiosk — including empty, loading,
error and permission states
* Prototype interactions to test and communicate intent before engineering
builds it
* Design for existing screens as often as new ones — redesigns and incremental
improvements are a large part of the work
