How you might spend your days
As an Associate IT Support Engineer, you will be part of the DCS support team responsible for providing Level 2 (L2) support for ABB 800xA systems, primarily during project hypercare and stabilization phases. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and customer teams to troubleshoot technical issues, ensure system availability, and support smooth project execution.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Troubleshooting ABB 800xA system installation and deployment issues.
• Supporting system configuration and administration activities.
• Assisting in project creation, configuration, and workplace setup.
• Investigating and resolving logic development and application issues.
• Supporting integration of ABB 800xA with third-party systems and interfaces.
• Troubleshooting access synchronization, user management, and security-related issues.
• Resolving issues related to adding and commissioning Soft Controllers and Physical Controllers.
• Monitoring incidents, analyzing root causes, and driving timely resolutions.
• Creating, maintaining, and improving Knowledge Base (KB) articles and support documentation.
• Supporting change management, issue tracking, and continuous improvement activities.
• Working closely with global stakeholders during hype
