Design Head (Roads) Responsibilities • Prepare detailed design for construction projects to the contract stage.

- Providing technical direction to the design crew, assigning tasks, instructing in procedures, and ensuring the orderly progress of the project • Reviews and revises and complete design projects.
- Supervises revision of plans of projects to contract.
- Undertake independent studies or assignments.
- Deals with written enquiries assigned originating either from the public or from other government agencies.
- Directing the preparation of drawings and estimates in specific applications.
- Acquaintance with design codes and manuals • Contract Clauses interpretation.
- To incorporate state of art technology Behavioral Skills • Leadership, Strategic Thinking, Decision Making, Communication,



Stakeholder Management and ability to inspire and motivate teams towards excellence Technical Skills • Comprehensive understanding of highway and structure design principles and practices • In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and specifications • Experience in managing complex design projects from concept to completion • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, codes, and standards • Expertise in analyzing and interpreting geotechnical and topographical data • Basic Knowledge of relevant design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D,MicroStation) Qualifications Education Qualification: BE/B. Tech – Civil Engineering or ME/M.
