Job Purpose To lead and manage the complete Finance & Accounting function of the organisation, ensuring accurate books of accounts, timely financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, cash-flow management and successful finalisation of accounts.

Key Responsibilities

- Complete Accounting & Finalisation
- Handle end-to-end accounting operations from transaction entry to finalisation of accounts.
- Supervise General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, Journal Entries and Fixed Assets.
- Prepare and review Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors and ensure timely finalisation of annual accounts.
- Ensure proper accounting controls and reconciliation of all major ledgers.
- Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Strong knowledge of GST, including GST returns, input tax credit, reconciliation and compliance.
- Handle TDS, Income Tax and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Coordinate GST/Tax assessments, notices and departmental correspondence.
- Ensure timely filing of all statutory returns and payments.
- Keep the organisation updated on changes in taxation laws and regulations.
- Manufacturing Finance
- Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting and costing is essential.
- Monitor product/job costing, material consumption, production costs, labour and overheads.
- Analyse cost of production, gross margins and profitability.
- Work closely with Production, Purchase, Stores and Sales teams to control costs.
- Support inventory valuation, stock reconciliation and physical stock verification.
- MIS & Management Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS and financial reports for management.
- Provide analysis of sales, margins, expenses, working capital and profitability.
- Prepare budgets,



forecasts and variance analysis.
- Provide financial insights to support management decision-making.
- Working Capital & Cash Flow
- Monitor receivables, payables and overall working capital.
- Prepare and monitor cash-flow forecasts.
- Follow up on customer outstanding payments and ensure proper credit control.
- Plan vendor payments in line with cash-flow requirements.
- Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, GST Audit and other applicable audits.
- Establish and maintain solid internal financial controls.
- Identify financial risks, discrepancies and control weaknesses and recommend corrective actions.

Key Skills & Competencies
- End-to-end accounting till finalisation of accounts

- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience with ERP/accounting software; Zoho Books/ERP experience will be an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to independently manage the Finance & Accounts function

Qualification & Experience
- CA / CMA / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing organisation.
- Candidates with strong hands-on experience in manufacturing finance, taxation and finalisation of accounts will be preferred.

Key Requirement

Prior experience in a Manufacturing Company is a key requirement. The candidate must be capable of independently handling the complete Finance & Accounts function from day-to-day accounting through finalisation of accounts and statutory compliance.

Desired Candidate Profile A hands-on Finance professional who can independently lead the entire accounting function, understands manufacturing operations and costing, has strong taxation knowledge, and can provide accurate financial information and meaningful business insights to Management.
