Key Responsibilities
- Develop test plans, test procedures, and test cases for hardware products.
- Perform functional, performance, stress, reliability, and validation testing.
- Test and debug PCBs, electronic circuits, embedded hardware, and electrical systems.
- Use laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, power supplies, and logic analyzers.
- Perform board bring-up, hardware debugging, and failure analysis.
- Validate interfaces such as UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, GPIO, etc., depending on the product.
- Analyze test failures and work with design, firmware, and manufacturing teams to identify root causes.
- Create detailed test reports, defect reports, and validation documentation.
- Support prototype testing, design verification, product qualification,
and production testing.
- Develop or maintain automated test setups/scripts where required.
- Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure products comply with relevant electrical, safety, EMC/EMI, and reliability requirements.
Expected Skills
- 3–6 years of experience in hardware testing/validation.
- Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics.
- Hands-on experience with PCB testing and debugging.
- Valuable knowledge of electronic test and measurement equipment.
- Understanding of schematics, datasheets, and hardware specifications.
- Experience with communication protocols such as I²C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB, Ethernet, etc.
- Basic scripting/programming knowledge in Python, C/C++, or LabVIEW is an advantage.
