Role Description The Hair Trainer will provide on-site, full-time training to students enrolled in hairdressing courses at Studio 11 Pro Academy in the Pune Division. This role includes planning and delivering theory and practical sessions on hair cutting, coloring, styling, treatments, and professional salon etiquette.

The Hair

Trainer will demonstrate techniques, supervise practice work, assess student performance, and provide constructive feedback to ensure skill development and safety standards.



The role also involves updating training content to align with current industry trends, maintaining training records, and supporting students with career readiness, including portfolio guidance and interview preparation. Collaboration with other trainers and academy staff to coordinate schedules, workshops, and examinations is an essential part of the position.

Qualifications

- Solid technical skills in hairdressing, including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair treatments, with the ability to demonstrate and teach these techniques clearly.
- Experience in training, mentoring, or coaching learners in a salon, academy, or vocational setting, with a structured approach to lesson planning and assessment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners, provide supportive feedback, and maintain a professional classroom environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of hairdressing trends, hygiene and safety protocols, and salon operations, including client consultation and service standards.
- Relevant professional certification or diploma in hairdressing or cosmetology; prior experience working in professional salons or beauty academies is highly desirable.
- Ability to work full time on-site in Pune Division, with strong time management, organizational skills, and willingness to participate in workshops, events, and examinations.
