About the Role

We are looking for a forward-thinking Gen AI Lead to drive AI-led transformation across enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of AI/ML, LLMs, NLP, and hands-on experience building scalable Gen AI solutions. This is a strategic and technical leadership role tailored for innovators who can convert business challenges into AI-powered outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery of Generative AI initiatives across multiple business units.

- Design, architect & implement solutions using LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering, Vector Databases, and NLP models.

- Work closely with stakeholders to identify AI use cases and create actionable roadmaps.

- Provide technical leadership for model fine-tuning, evaluation, deployment & optimization.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams — Data Engineering, Cloud, Product & Enterprise Architecture.

- Ensure AI solutions meet compliance, data governance, and security standards.





- Mentor and guide junior AI engineers and developers.

- Stay updated on advancements in Gen AI, MLOps, AI frameworks and industry trends.

Required Skills & Expertise

- 8–12 years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 3+ years in Gen AI.

- Strong hands-on skills with LLMs (GPT, Llama, Claude, etc.), Transformers, RAG pipelines, Vector DBs (Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma).

- Expertise in Python, ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, HuggingFace).

- Experience building AI apps on Azure/AWS/GCP (Azure preferred for Birlasoft).

- Strong understanding of data engineering pipelines, MLOps, CI/CD for AI.

- Experience leading AI teams & delivering enterprise-grade solutions.

- Excellent analytical, communication & stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

- Azure AI Engineer / OpenAI / AWS ML certifications

- Experience with conversational AI, chatbots & automation

- Exposure to industry-specific Gen AI use cases (Manufacturing, BFSI, Healthcare)
