Role Description The Furniture Quality Assurance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for inspecting furniture at different production stages, verifying that materials, finishes, and construction meet internal standards and client specifications. The specialist will develop and maintain quality checklists, document inspection results, and collaborate with production, design, and procurement teams to address nonconformities and improve processes.

Day-to-day activities include conducting routine quality audits on the shop floor, monitoring adherence to manufacturing procedures, coordinating corrective actions,



and supporting root-cause analysis for recurring issues. The role also involves preparing quality reports, assisting in client and third-party inspections, and promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the workshop.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, with experience applying these in a manufacturing or furniture production environment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Management, including developing standards, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and the ability to ensure processes and workflows comply with relevant guidelines.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Auditing, including planning and conducting internal audits and reporting findings in a clear, structured manner.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in engineering, industrial production, furniture design, or a related field are beneficial.
- Experience in furniture or interior fit-out manufacturing, familiarity with materials and finishes, and an eye for detail and craftsmanship are highly advantageous.
- Robust analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site in Gurugram.
