Role Description The G-Pass role at Lexicon Freight International Pvt. Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Mundra. The G-Pass professional is responsible for managing gate passes and documentation related to cargo movement within port and terminal facilities, ensuring compliance with customs and port regulations.
Day-to-day tasks include preparing and verifying G-Pass documents, coordinating with operations, transporters, and port authorities, and maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments. The role involves monitoring cargo status,
resolving discrepancies in documentation or gate entries, and supporting smooth cargo clearance and transportation workflows. The G-Pass team member is expected to maintain strong communication with internal departments and external stakeholders, while upholding company standards for safety, accuracy, and customer service.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of port operations, cargo movement procedures, and basic customs and logistics documentation.
- Ability to prepare, review, and maintain accurate records for gate passes, shipment tracking, and related paperwork.
- Effective communication and coordination skills for interaction with operations teams, transporters, customers, and port or terminal authorities.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to resolving documentation issues or operational discrepancies.
- Basic computer literacy, including use of spreadsheets, documentation tools, and internal logistics systems.
- Prior experience in port, logistics, customs clearance, or freight forwarding operations is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Mundra, adapt to fast-paced operational environments, and follow safety and compliance guidelines.
- Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma; a degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain, or related fields is an advantage.
