Foxscan currently serves major cities including Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Ahmedabad, offering a specialized, impartial approach to residential structural diagnostics.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fresher Civil Engineer role based in Chennai.

The Fresher Civil

Engineer will assist in conducting in office structural assessments of residential properties, including visual inspections and basic measurements related to seepage, dampness, and structural issues. The role involves supporting senior engineers in data collection, participating in the use of diagnostic tools such as thermal imaging under supervision, and organizing findings for evidence-backed reports.



The engineer will contribute to preparing structured documentation, coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely report delivery, and follow established protocols for unbiased diagnostics. The position offers mentorship, training in Foxscan’s diagnostic methodology, and opportunities to build foundational expertise in structural diagnostics.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with an understanding of structural behavior in residential buildings.
- Ability to apply Civil Engineering principles and work effectively as part of a team of Civil Engineers.
- Skills in Planning and basic exposure to Stormwater Management, particularly related to seepage and dampness issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent discipline from an accredited institution.
- Strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in field assessments and reporting.
- Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and conduct field visits in varying residential environments.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; additional local language proficiency is an advantage.
- Ability to learn and use diagnostic tools and software, and to follow structured processes and safety guidelines.
