About VFRAVigilant Forensic Research and Analytics Pvt. Ltd. is a DPIIT-recognised deep-tech cybersecurity and digital forensics startup based in Nagpur, Maharashtra. We build AI-powered investigation platforms for Indian law enforcement and work directly with agencies including EOW Nagpur and Cyber Crime Police Station, Nagpur City Police.

Our flagship products, InvestiGate and TTI (Telegram Threat Intelligence), are built to solve real investigative problems that existing tools cannot.

We are a small, fast-moving founding team. Everyone here does real work on real problems.

About the RoleThis is not a coffee-and-spreadsheets internship.

The Founder’s Office Intern will work directly with the Founder and core team on some of VFRA’s most important priorities: expanding our presence across India, engaging with senior law enforcement leadership, identifying relevant grants and incubation opportunities, supporting investor and advisor relationships, and building the systems required to scale the company.

You will be trusted with real responsibility from day one. You will be expected to take ownership of tasks, figure out the path forward, communicate clearly, and execute without requiring step-by-step supervision.

What You Will Work On1. Outreach and Stakeholder Meetings

- Identify and coordinate meetings with DCPs, SPs, DYSPs, CPs, Cyber Cell heads, and other relevant government and law enforcement stakeholders across India
- Research relevant departments, officers, cities, and states for VFRA’s expansion
- Draft official outreach communication on VFRA letterhead
- Schedule meetings, manage confirmations, follow-ups, and correspondence
- Maintain a structured database of outreach, meetings, contacts, and outcomes
- Prepare briefing notes before significant meetings

2. Pan-India Expansion
- Support the founding team in identifying and entering current states, cities, departments, and institutional networks
- Research opportunities for VFRA across India's law enforcement and government ecosystem
- Help develop city-wise and state-wise outreach strategies
- Track progress across different regions and ensure follow-ups do not slip
- Assist in building the operational systems required as VFRA scales pan India

3. Grants, Incubation and Government Opportunities
- Identify relevant government grants, startup schemes, competitions, accelerators, and incubation programs
- Research eligibility, application requirements, deadlines, and strategic relevance
- Support the preparation of applications, supporting documents, pitch decks, and submissions
- Track applications from research through submission and follow-up
- Maintain a central calendar of important deadlines and opportunities

You will have the opportunity to take ownership of relevant grant and incubation applications end to end.

- Travel and Field Coordination
- Coordinate travel arrangements for the founding team for outstation visits
- Accompany the team on field visits where possible




- Manage on-ground logistics and meeting schedules
- Prepare city-wise meeting briefs so the team walks into every meeting fully prepared
- Maintain clear records and action items from field visits

5. Meetings, Notes and Follow-ups
- Attend meetings with the Founder and core team where appropriate
- Take structured meeting notes and maintain action items
- Track commitments, follow-ups, and next steps after meetings
- Ensure important action items are followed through to completion
- Help the team maintain momentum across multiple parallel initiatives

6. Pitching and Presentations
- Attend pitch meetings alongside the founding team
- Understand VFRA’s products, market, technology, and business model deeply enough to support discussions
- Co-present after adequate preparation and briefing
- Build and refine presentations for law enforcement agencies, incubators, investors, grant committees, and other stakeholders
- Document feedback from meetings and continuously improve the company's pitch

7. Decks and Documents
- Build and refine pitch decks for different audiences
- Prepare one-pagers, capability briefs, proposals, and institutional documents
- Tailor communication based on the stakeholder being approached
- Maintain version control and ensure the team is always working with the latest documents
- Support preparation of internal and external company documentation

8. Investor and Advisor Support
- Assist the founding team in coordinating with investors and advisors
- Prepare meeting notes, action items, updates, and supporting material
- Track deliverables and follow-ups arising from investor and advisor discussions
- Help ensure commitments and reporting requirements are followed through
- Support the team in maintaining organised and professional communication with external stakeholders

9. Market Research
- Map the Indian law enforcement technology, cybersecurity, digital forensics, and legal-tech landscape
- Research competitors, global benchmarks, pricing models, and emerging technologies
- Identify new markets, departments, partnerships, and verticals VFRA should consider
- Prepare concise research briefs to support business decisions

10. Internal Operations and Day-to-Day Company ActivitiesAs part of the Founder’s Office, you will also support the core team in keeping the company moving day to day.

This may include

- Maintaining task trackers and action-item lists
- Coordinating across different team members
- Following up on pending deliverables
- Organising meetings and calendars
- Maintaining important company documents and records
- Supporting internal planning and execution
- Flagging blockers early
- Helping create and improve simple systems and processes as the company grows
- Taking on ad-hoc but important priorities that require immediate attention

The exact nature of this work will evolve with the company's priorities.



Who We Are Looking ForPriority will be given to candidates who:
- Are pursuing or have completed an MBA, BBA, BA LLB, Mass Communication, B.Tech. or related program
- Are based in Nagpur or willing to travel to Nagpur for important meetings
- Have demonstrated leadership in college: fest coordination, MUN, debate, committee roles, entrepreneurship, student organisations, or other meaningful organisational responsibility
- Write well in English and can structure an argument clearly
- Are comfortable speaking to senior professionals and institutional stakeholders
- Have made at least one pitch deck, competition entry, research document, or similar work they can show us
- Can work independently and take ownership without constant supervision

We will also consider:
- Final-year undergraduate students from any discipline if they can demonstrate initiative and communication ability
- Candidates from other Maharashtra cities or metros if they are comfortable with remote-first coordination
- Candidates with strong extracurricular, entrepreneurial, research, or organisational experience even if their academic background is different

We Are Not Looking For
- Someone who needs step-by-step guidance on every task
- Someone treating this as a resume line with minimal involvement
- Someone who waits for instructions instead of identifying what needs to be done
- Someone uncomfortable with follow-ups and accountability
- A designer or developer — separate roles exist for those

Potential PPO OpportunityFor candidates who demonstrate exceptional ownership and consistently add value to the company, a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) may be considered after completion of three months. The decision will be based on performance, initiative, reliability, ability to work independently, and the measurable value contributed to VFRA.

This is not an automatic conversion — it is an opportunity earned through performance.

A Note on Priority HiringWe will prioritise Nagpur-based candidates who can engage in person, particularly for meetings and field activities.

You will be working directly with the Founder and core team, and the scope of the role will grow with your ability to take responsibility.
