Role Description This full-time Footwear Merchandiser role is an on-site position based in Agra.

The Footwear

Merchandiser will coordinate product assortments, manage inventory levels, and support the planning of seasonal collections for various markets. Daily tasks include analyzing sales data, monitoring market trends, and collaborating with design, production, and sales teams to optimize product mix and pricing. The role involves preparing product presentations, maintaining accurate merchandising documentation, and ensuring that collections align with brand standards and customer expectations.

Merchandiser will also visit production areas and showrooms to verify sample quality, display standards, and product readiness for launch.

Qualifications

- Strong merchandising and product management abilities, including assortment planning, inventory coordination, and understanding of footwear categories.
- Analytical skills for interpreting sales reports, market trends, and customer preferences to support data-driven merchandising decisions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with design, production, sales, and marketing teams.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing samples, product information, pricing data, and merchandising documentation.
- Familiarity with footwear or fashion retail/wholesale environments; prior experience in footwear merchandising is an advantage.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and merchandising or inventory software; comfort using digital tools for reporting and presentations.
- Ability to work on-site in Agra, manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in merchandising, fashion, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in the footwear industry.
