Role Description The Food and Beverage Steward is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City, supporting day-to-day operations across dining and catering services.

Responsibilities include setting up and clearing tables, replenishing food and beverage stations, and ensuring all service areas and equipment are clean, organized, and well-maintained. The steward assists service staff during busy periods, helps with basic food and beverage preparation tasks as directed, and follows hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.



The role also involves receiving and stocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and coordinating with the kitchen and service teams to deliver smooth, high-quality guest experiences.

Qualifications

- Service and guest interaction skills: ability to support food and beverage service, respond to guest requests courteously, and maintain a professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Operational and hygiene skills: familiarity with cleaning procedures, safe handling of food and beverages, and adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Teamwork and communication skills: capacity to collaborate with kitchen, bar, and service staff, follow instructions clearly, and communicate issues promptly.
- Organization and time management skills: ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize during peak hours, and maintain orderly storage and service areas.
- Physical stamina and reliability: readiness to stand for extended periods, lift and carry supplies as needed, and consistently report on time for scheduled shifts.
- Prior experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering is preferred but not mandatory; basic understanding of food and beverage service and willingness to learn are essential.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by hospitality operations.
