Job Title: Senior Salesforce QA Automation Engineer – Playwright

Location: Bengaluru and PAN India

Working Mode: Hybrid – 3 days from office

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce QA Automation Engineer with 8 years of software testing experience and strong expertise in Salesforce application testing and Playwright automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce applications through robust test strategy, automation framework development, and end-to-end validation across multiple clouds and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript
- Perform end-to-end testing of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom Salesforce applications
- Create and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, integration, regression, and smoke testing
- Validate Salesforce customizations including Objects, Flows, Apex, LWC, Validation Rules, Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules
- Develop and maintain reusable Page Object Model (POM) based automation frameworks
- Automate Salesforce Lightning UI components and complex business workflows
- Perform API testing using Postman and validate integrations between Salesforce and external systems
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Salesforce Architects during requirement analysis and sprint planning
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test planning, estimation, and release readiness




- Execute test suites across multiple browsers and environments using Playwright
- Integrate automation execution into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
- Conduct defect triage, root cause analysis, and work closely with development teams for resolution
- Generate automation reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders
- Mentor junior QA engineers and drive automation best practices across the team

Required Skills

Salesforce Testing

- 5+ years of hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications
- Strong understanding of:
- Sales Cloud
- Service Cloud
- Experience Cloud
- Salesforce Security Model
- Flows & Process Automation
- Apex & Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Salesforce Integrations

Automation Testing

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright Automation
- Robust proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript
- Experience in building scalable automation frameworks from scratch
- Expertise in:
- UI Automation
- API Automation
- Data-driven Testing
- Cross-Browser Testing
- Regression Automation

Test Management & CI/CD

- Experience with Jira, Xray, ALM, TestRail or similar tools
- Experience integrating automation suites with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong knowledge of Jenkins, Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps

API Integration Testing

- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs
- Ability to validate Salesforce integrations and middleware platforms
