About The Role

We are looking for a Flutter Developer to join our mobile engineering team and take ownership of enhancements and ongoing development of the BigMint mobile application. This is a hands-on role - you will be expected to own features end-to-end, from understanding the requirement and coordinating with the backend team, through to testing, deployment, and post-release monitoring.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in delivering clean, stable, and well-tested mobile experiences - not just writing code but caring about what ships to users.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development &

- Enhancement

- Develop, enhance, and maintain the BigMint Flutter application across Android and iOS platforms.
- Build reusable, modular widgets and components that are consistent with the existing design system and UI patterns.
- Translate product and design requirements into production-ready Flutter code with minimal handholding.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, UI rendering issues,



and crashes proactively.

API Integration &
- Backend Coordination

- Work closely with the backend team to integrate APIs - understand the contract, raise gaps early, and handle edge cases on the mobile side.
- Implement robust error handling, loading states, and offline-first or graceful degradation patterns where applicable.
- Participate in API design discussions to provide a mobile perspective on data structure and response formats.

Testing &
- Quality

- Write unit tests for all business logic and critical UI components as a standard part of development, not an afterthought.
- Perform thorough manual testing across device types and OS versions before raising any PR.
- Coordinate with QA for regression testing cycles and actively support bug triage and resolution.

Deployment &
- Release Management

- Manage the end-to-end release process - build signing, versioning, release notes, and submission to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Handle review feedback from app stores and resolve compliance or policy issues independently.
- Maintain release checklists and ensure deployments follow a structured, repeatable process.

Collaboration &
- Communication





- Participate in sprint planning and provide realistic effort estimates for mobile tasks.
- Communicate blockers, dependencies, and risks early - especially around API readiness or third-party SDK changes.
- Maintain explicit documentation for complex flows, state management decisions, and third-party integrations.

Experience Qualifications &

- Skills

- 2–5 years of hands-on Flutter development with at least one live application on the Play Store or App Store that you personally shipped.

Technical Skills
- Strong command of Flutter and Dart - state management, navigation, and widget lifecycle.
- Solid understanding of API integration patterns, async/await, and error handling in Flutter.
- Experience with unit testing and widget testing in Flutter.
- Familiarity with push notifications (FCM), deep linking, and background services.
- Experience with Play Store and App Store submission processes - build signing, versioning, release tracks, and review resolution.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD for mobile is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git and PR-based development workflows.
