Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager (ASM) to support the Store Manager in managing showroom operations, driving sales, handling customers, and leading the sales team.

The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Diamond, Gold, Polki and Kundan jewellery, along with proven expertise in luxury customer handling and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Store Manager in managing day-to-day showroom operations.
- Drive monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
- Monitor individual and team performance and take corrective actions wherever required.
- Lead, motivate and guide the sales team to achieve business targets.
- Handle VIP, HNI and high-value customers with excellent customer service.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge in Diamond, Gold, Polki and Kundan jewellery.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable jewellery based on occasion, budget and preferences.
- Drive cross-selling and upselling to increase Average Transaction Value (ATV).
- Support the team in sales closures and high-value negotiations.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and generate repeat business.
- Monitor customer follow-ups, client data and CRM activities.
- Ensure proper jewellery display, counter presentation and visual merchandising standards.
- Assist in stock management,



stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure billing, cash handling and documentation are accurate.
- Monitor store security and ensure adherence to all jewellery handling and security SOPs.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct regular team briefings and product/sales training.
- Prepare and review daily sales and operational reports.
- Coordinate with HO, HR, Accounts, Marketing and Operations teams whenever required.
- Ensure grooming, discipline and skilled standards are maintained across the showroom.
- Support the Store Manager in achieving overall store profitability and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
- 4–7 years of experience in jewellery retail, preferably in a reputed jewellery brand.
- Strong knowledge of Diamond, Gold, Polki and Kundan jewellery is mandatory.
- Good understanding of diamond basics, including 4Cs.
- Strong knowledge of jewellery sales, customer handling and product presentation.
- Proven experience in achieving sales targets.
- Excellent team management and leadership skills.
- Solid communication and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of POS/ERP and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of cross-selling, upselling, conversion and ATV.
- Excellent grooming and professional personality.
- Hindi and English communication skills required.

Preferred Candidate
- Candidates currently working as Assistant Store Manager / Senior Sales Manager / Floor Manager / Senior Jewellery Consultant in an organized jewellery retail brand will be preferred.
