The RoleWe are looking for a Chartered Accountant with strong FMCG / consumer business experience to join our finance team.

The role will have broad exposure across financial planning, MIS, accounting, working capital, cash flow, commercial finance and business performance.

The candidate will work closely with the Finance leadership team and cross-functional teams to bring financial rigour, visibility and discipline to a fast-growing business.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning &

- MIS

- Prepare weekly and monthly financial MIS and business performance reports.
- Track revenue, gross margin, contribution margin, EBITDA and key financial metrics.
- Analyse performance across brands, channels, customers and SKUs.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
- Identify key variances and translate numbers into actionable insights.

Cash Flow & • Working Capital
- Monitor daily / weekly cash flows and working-capital requirements.
- Track receivables, payables and inventory.
- Drive collections and monitor customer credit cycles.
- Support cash-flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
- Identify opportunities to improve working-capital efficiency.

Accounting & • Controls
- Manage day-to-day accounting and monthly book closure.




- Ensure accurate accounting of revenue, expenses, inventory and COGS.
- Oversee reconciliations and financial controls.
- Support GST, TDS, audits and statutory compliance.
- Work with external auditors, consultants and advisors.

Commercial Finance
- Analyse pricing, discounts, margins and channel economics.
- Evaluate profitability across customers, products and channels.
- Support commercial negotiations and business decisions.
- Build financial models and business cases for new initiatives.

Inventory & • Costing
- Work closely with Manufacturing and SCM teams on inventory and costing.
- Track raw material, packaging and finished-goods inventory.
- Analyse COGS, wastage, yields and production costs.
- Ensure accurate product-level profitability.

Business Partnering
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, SCM and Operations teams.
- Provide financial insights to support business decisions.
- Participate in business reviews and strategic initiatives.
- Help build scalable financial processes and reporting systems as the company grows.

What We're Looking For
- CA qualification preferred / strongly preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience in FMCG, food, consumer or high-growth businesses.
- Strong understanding of P&L;, cash flow, working capital and business finance.
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Good understanding of accounting and financial controls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
