The Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory, & regulatory compliance and financial planning. The role involves managing accounting functions, internal controls, financial analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Management

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and payroll.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance.

2. Financial Reporting

- Prepare financial reports, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

3. Forecasting

- Lead the periodic financial forecasts processes.
- Monitor financial performance and analyze variances.

4. Compliance & Controls





- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies.
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.

5. Team Management

- Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team.
- Allocate responsibilities and ensure efficient workflow in the finance department.

6. Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities for automation and financial process improvement.
- Implement financial systems and reporting frameworks.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant is a must.

Experience

- 7–12 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Experience in financial reporting, compliance, and audit management.
- Prior leadership or team management experience preferred.
