Role Description The Field Manager, Individual Loan Officer, Collection Officer role is a full-time, in office position based in Salem. The role involves meeting prospective and existing clients in the field, explaining loan products, assessing eligibility, and supporting applicants through the loan process. Daily responsibilities include monitoring individual loan portfolios, ensuring timely disbursements and repayments, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and account status.

The role also requires managing collections activities, resolving payment issues, providing customer service,



and coordinating with internal teams to improve portfolio quality and minimize defaults. The individual in this role will contribute directly to AICI’s mission by supporting responsible lending and building long-term relationships with community members.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Loans and Loan Servicing to assess applications, process documentation, and manage the loan lifecycle.
- Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Portfolio Management to monitor account performance, analyze risk, and support sustainable portfolio growth.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to communicate clearly, handle inquiries, and maintain positive client relationships.
- Experience in field operations, collections, or microfinance, particularly working with low-income communities, is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Salem, travel within assigned areas, and operate independently with integrity and accountability.
- Good numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and basic proficiency in using mobile or computer applications for data entry and reporting.
- A minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in finance, commerce, business, or a related field is an advantage.
- Local language proficiency and strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse community members.
