The team designs world-class educational content and tools, helping schools implement interactive, hands-on learning experiences. Qwings takes complete ownership for setting up, running, managing, and upgrading STEM labs to ensure sustained impact in STEM education.

Role Description The Stem Expert role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. This role involves facilitating STEM learning in school labs, guiding students through hands-on experiments and projects across science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

The Stem

Expert will demonstrate and explain STEM concepts, support curriculum delivery, and adapt activities to different age groups and learning levels.

Responsibilities include maintaining lab equipment, ensuring safety and readiness of materials, documenting activities and outcomes, and collaborating with school staff and the Qwings team to improve program quality.



The role also includes training educators on using STEM resources, gathering feedback from stakeholders, and contributing to continuous enhancement of Qwings’ STEM content and methodologies.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) and enthusiasm for hands-on, experiential learning.
- Experience working with school-aged learners, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple, engaging ways.
- Skills in lesson facilitation, classroom or lab management, and safe handling of educational lab equipment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, teachers, and school leadership.
- Ability to document activities, track learning outcomes, and provide clear feedback for program improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field (e.g., Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related discipline).
- Comfort with basic educational technologies and willingness to learn new tools and platforms used in STEM labs.
- High level of ownership, reliability, and adaptability to work in dynamic school environments and a fast-growing education startup ecosystem.
