Role Description: The Experience Prestressing Engineer for Bridges and Buildings is a full time. The role involves operating and overseeing prestressing systems, including post-tensioning and pre-tensioning for bridges, buildings, and slabs. The engineer will provide technical guidance during site execution, monitor quality and safety practices, and support troubleshooting of technical issues.
Qualifications
- Experience with post-tensioning and pre-tensioning systems, including anchorage details, tendon profiles, and stressing procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Hands-on experience in site supervision for prestressing works, including profiling, stressing calculations, jack calibration checks, grouting, and quality control.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering (master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Effective communication skills, ability to work in a team, and readiness to travel to project sites as required.
