Key Responsibilities:

- ETL Testing:
- Develop and execute test cases to verify the integrity and correctness of ETL processes.

- Test data extraction, transformation, and loading from source to destination.

- Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across the ETL pipeline.

- Data Validation

- Validate source data against the transformed data.

- Compare data between source and target systems and ensure no data loss during transformations.

- Perform data reconciliation and data integrity checks.

- Automation of Tests

- Develop and execute automated test scripts to streamline the ETL testing process.

- Use testing tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or specific ETL testing tools to automate repetitive tasks.

- Reporting and Documentation

- Document test plans, test cases, and test results.

- Report defects and track them using defect management tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).

- Provide test summaries and progress reports to stakeholders.





- Collaboration

- Collaborate with developers and data engineers to troubleshoot issues in the ETL pipeline.

- Participate in requirements and design review meetings to provide inputs for testability and data validation.

- Performance Testing

- Validate the performance and scalability of the ETL processes, ensuring optimal data loading time.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Technical Skills:
- Robust experience in ETL Testing using tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or DataStage.

- Experience in SQL and data validation techniques.

- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (OLAP, OLTP).

- Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and database structures.

- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, JUnit, TestNG).
