Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Estimation Costing Engineer role based in Ahmedabad.

The Estimation Costing

Engineer will prepare detailed cost estimates, quantities, and BOQs for luxury hospitality and high-end residential projects.

Responsibilities include analyzing drawings and specifications, collecting and validating cost data, and coordinating with project managers, procurement teams, and site engineers to align estimates with execution plans. The role involves supporting tendering and bidding processes, evaluating vendor quotations, and participating in negotiations to ensure cost efficiency.

Engineer will also monitor project costs against budgets, update estimates based on design changes, and provide regular costing reports to support decision-making and cost control.

Qualifications

- Strong project estimation and BOQ preparation skills for civil and high-end construction projects.
- Solid foundation in Civil Engineering, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Effective negotiation and vendor evaluation skills to support cost optimization and procurement decisions.
- Research skills for market rate analysis, benchmarking, and updating cost databases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in luxury hospitality, high-end residential, or similar construction environments is an advantage.
- Proficiency in estimation and costing software, MS Excel, and standard construction tools.
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to transparent, accurate reporting.
- Ability to work in office in Ahmedabad, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and meet project timelines.
