AM/Manager - Wetlands Management Services (Biodiversity & Environment) - 3-5 Years - Mumbai Are you an experienced skilled with strong expertise in Biodiversity, Environment Awareness, Nature Interpretation, Wildlife Research, and People Management? We are looking for a professional to support the conservation of the mangrove ecosystem, manage biodiversity-related infrastructure, drive awareness and outreach initiatives, and contribute to research and collaborative projects.

Responsibilities:

- Support the design and execution of research projects in collaboration with academic institutes and contribute to ongoing and new projects related to mangroves and biodiversity.
- Support the conservation and management of mangrove ecosystems, including regular visits to creekside ecosystems and monitoring and maintenance of related infrastructure.
- Provide support for Mangrove Coalition initiatives, including site visits, meeting coordination, data organization and management, presentation and report preparation, and activity monitoring.
- Conduct and support biodiversity and environmental awareness programs across schools and colleges in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, as well as employee engagement initiatives.
- Drive outreach activities and support onsite township activities for residents, including documentation related to the Township Environment Management System.
- Conduct literature reviews and research to gather authentic biodiversity-related information for research, social media content, speeches, articles,



and other communication initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for environmental infrastructure development, such as gardens, nature trails, water holes, and other biodiversity-focused facilities, and support their implementation.
- Identify biodiversity awards and recognition opportunities and support the application process, while also identifying new trends and avenues to enhance awareness initiatives.
- Strengthen WMS documentation and reporting, including animal rescue records, security records, feedback forms, analysis, and other relevant documentation; also ensure regular updating of the Godrej Mangroves website with relevant content.
- Support departmental and collaborative initiatives while contributing to the broader biodiversity, environmental awareness, research, and outreach objectives of the organization.

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Biodiversity, Environment Awareness, Nature Interpretation, Wildlife-related Research, or People Management.
- M.Sc. in Biodiversity, Wildlife Science, or Biological Sciences.
- Additional educational qualifications or certificate courses related to Biodiversity/Ecology will be preferred.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and documentation/report preparation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
- Experience in leading collaborative projects will be preferred.
- Experience working in the Biodiversity/Environment domain within an industry environment will be an advantage.
- Strong research, analytical, coordination, communication, and people-management skills.




- Experience working with international organizations or collaborations and integrating biodiversity with business will be preferred.
