RESPONSIBILITIES

* The Lead Security will be entrusted with comprehensive responsibilities that
ensure the integrity and safety of the entire thermal power facility.
* These include:
* Developing and implementing strategic security policies and procedures
tailored to the specific needs of the thermal power industry, ensuring
alignment with Adani’s corporate governance and compliance requirements.
* Leading a multidisciplinary security team, including security officers,
surveillance operators, and emergency response personnel, fostering a culture
of accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement.
* Conducting thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify
potential security threats and mitigate them proactively by deploying
advanced security technologies and physical controls.
* Overseeing access control systems to safeguard critical infrastructure and
ensuring that all personnel, contractors, and visitors adhere to security
protocols without impeding operational efficiency.
* Coordinating with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency




services to establish robust partnerships and effective response mechanisms
during incidents or emergencies.
* Managing incident response planning and execution, including drills,
investigations, and reporting, to minimize impact and facilitate swift
resolution of security breaches or threats.
* Ensuring compliance with national and international safety regulations,
environmental guidelines, and industry best practices, incorporating these
standards into daily security operations and audits.
* Spearheading employee training programs on security awareness, emergency
preparedness, and behavioral safety to enhance the overall security posture
and embed a risk-conscious culture.
* Collaborating closely with IT and cybersecurity teams to integrate physical
and cyber security strategies, safeguarding sensitive operational data and
control systems against evolving threats.
