As a key member of the Government Affairs and Partnerships business unit of IIX, you will help drive key stakeholder relationships, business development, and support the strategic direction of the team for long term growth and profitability. . Scope of Work
Strategic Market Insights and Partnerships
Lead the research on new and emerging impact investment, sustainable finance, and MSME sector trends to help assess business development and knowledge positioning opportunities for IIX
Understand and deepen IIX’s business and presence in existing markets by driving a knowledge- and network-led engagement with clients, development partners, and government stakeholders, including strategic thought pieces, convenings, and partnered events.
Identify and help prioritize new markets and regions for IIX’s expansion,



leveraging the existing institutional relationships and business model while nurturing current funding pursuits, working closely with the department head and IIX leadership
Envision and suggest areas of strategic collaboration with key policy, government, and other ecosystem partners
Business Development
Assess the development sector and overall funding landscape for IIX to identify and pursue key opportunities, including preparing concept notes, proposals, and capability documents, in close collaboration with other IIX teams and partners
Source, prepare and submit requests for proposal (RFPs) and expressions of interest (EOIs) from global and regional tendering organizations
Prepare external marketing and strategic business development materials by working closely with other teams
Knowledge Products and Project Implementation Support
Support the design of project implementation plans to support a seamless delivery of projects by respective teams
