We are looking for a Chartered Accountant – Taxation & Compliance to take ownership of Faym's end-to-end taxation and compliance function.

Role

This is a high-ownership role for a Chartered Accountant who can independently manage taxation, statutory compliance, reconciliations, audits, and regulatory requirements while working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
The role requires someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with deadlines, and capable of identifying compliance risks and providing practical tax guidance to the business.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end taxation and compliance across GST, TDS, advance tax, Income Tax, and other applicable statutory requirements, ensuring timely and accurate filings.




Handle statutory and tax-related audits, ensuring all required documentation, reconciliations, and supporting schedules are maintained and audit-ready.
Manage tax notices and assessments, including reviewing notices, coordinating responses, and working with external consultants or authorities wherever required.
Review financial transactions from a tax perspective, including vendor transactions, invoices, contracts, payroll, and business expenses, and provide appropriate tax guidance.
Ensure regulatory compliance by tracking applicable changes in tax laws and regulations and implementing necessary changes within internal processes.
Work closely on tax planning, compliance risk mitigation, and identifying opportunities for tax efficiency.
Strengthen taxation and compliance processes by building structured trackers, documentation systems, reconciliation processes, and internal controls.
