Role Description The Educational Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, working across D-Tech Point branches as needed. This role involves guiding prospective and current learners in selecting suitable IT/ERP and other educational programs, based on their interests, skills, and career goals. The counselor will conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions, explain course structures and outcomes, and help learners understand career pathways and placement opportunities.

Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate student records, following up with inquiries, coordinating with trainers and the placement team, and supporting admission processes. The counselor will also participate in outreach activities,



such as seminars or workshops, to promote the institute’s offerings and ensure a positive learner experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Educational Consulting and Education-related knowledge to guide learners on suitable academic and training paths.
- Candidates should possess skills in Student Counseling to address learners’ concerns, support their academic choices, and improve overall learner engagement.
- Candidates should possess Career Counseling abilities to help learners understand job roles, industry expectations, and long-term career planning.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for transparent, empathetic, and professional interaction with learners, families, and internal teams.
- Relevant skills such as basic IT literacy, experience in training or academic institutions, and familiarity with local education and job markets in Pune are beneficial.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field, along with prior experience in educational or career guidance.
- Ability to work on-site across different branches in the Pune Division, manage multiple counseling cases, and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
