Introduction Shri Guru Jambeshwar Seva Sansthan (SGJSS) is a non-governmental organization (NPO) headquartered in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Since its establishment in 2007, SGJSS has been deeply committed to serving underprivileged and marginalized communities, drawing inspiration from the timeless philosophy of Guru Jambeshwar. Our tireless efforts are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for those in need through a diverse range of programs and initiatives.

Shree Guru Jambeshwar Sewa Sansthan (SGJSS) is an FCRA-registered non-profit that has worked since 2007 with marginalised communities across Rajasthan, India - in education, women's empowerment, environmental conservation and rural livelihoods.

We are looking for volunteers to strengthen our digital outreach and community engagement. Our field work is strong; the storytelling around it is not,



and that gap costs us donors, partners and reach. This is a chance to do real social impact communication and see it change what a small grassroots organisation can raise and who it can reach.

What You Will Do

- Plan and write a simple monthly content calendar for our social channels.
- Turn field material - photographs, training reports, press clippings, often in Hindi - into clear, publishable posts.
- Design simple graphics and post templates. Canva is perfectly sufficient; nothing elaborate is needed.
- Draft short donor and supporter updates, and help shape messaging for fundraising pushes.
- Track what performs and tell us plainly what we should do more of.

Who We Are Looking For

- Strong written English.

Working

Hindi is a real advantage but not essential.

- Comfortable with the main social platforms and with Canva or a similar design tool.
- Genuine interest in non-profits, CSR or community development.
- Able to work independently with light supervision, and to ask when something in the source material is unclear.
- Prior professional experience is welcome but not required - care and consistency matter more.

PRACTICAL DETAILS
- Fully remote, working with our Jaipur team on Indian Standard Time.
- Around 4 to 6 hours a week.

We ask for roughly three months so campaigns have continuity, and scheduling within that is flexible.

- This is an unpaid volunteer role. On completion we provide a volunteer certificate and a reference letter, and throughout you get mentorship from our team and exposure to CSR and donor networks.
- Your work is published under SGJSS's name; we are glad to credit you and to act as a reference for future roles.

WHY IT MATTERS

Most of what SGJSS does - a women's self-help group getting started, a farmer training, a plantation drive - is never seen beyond the village where it happened. Making that work visible is how the next grant gets funded and the next community gets reached.
