Zionia is a school-software startup founded by two 16-year-olds (Founder & CEO + CFO). We make school timetables that generate in 10 seconds — the product is live today. We're a small, scrappy, fully remote team: the CEO builds the product, the CFO handles school conversations, and a growing intern community runs growth and outreach.

We value creativity, honest numbers, and people who actually understand social media — not just "post and hope." Interns get real responsibility on a live product, public credit for their work, and a signed certification. This is a startup internship for high-schoolers 16+, fully remote, flexible hours — built for hands-on growth, not office coffee runs.

Role Description

Digital Marketing & Social Media Intern — Remote · Unpaid · Certificate-based.

You'll run Zionia's entire Instagram presence: this is not "post 3 pictures a week." You'll plan and create reels (product demos, founder story, "timetable in 10 seconds" content), track what the algorithm does with each post, experiment with trends and hooks to grow followers and go viral, and turn engaged followers into inbound DM conversations. You'll manage the weekly content calendar, reply to comments/DMs, and prepare a simple weekly report on reach, engagement, and follower growth. You'll coordinate directly with the Founder (CEO)



for content direction and with the Outreach team so everything funnels into demo meetings.

Flexible schedule, ~4–6 hrs/week, work from anywhere. On completion you receive a signed Zionia certificate + a LinkedIn recommendation from the founder, plus first priority for a paid role when Zionia crosses 10 paying schools.

Qualifications

- 16+ and currently in high school (this applies to students by design).
- Foundational digital marketing knowledge: you understand Instagram's algorithm, hooks, trends, and what stops a scroll. A completed marketing/social-media course is a plus.
- Content skills: short-form video/reel instincts, clear writing, and an eye for visuals/layouts that fit a warm, playful school-brand style.
- Analytical skills: you can read reach/engagement numbers, see what worked, and adapt.
- Communication + organization: time management, consistent posting, and comfortable coordinating with the founder and the outreach team over chat.
- Bonus: a personal Instagram/page/reel you're proud of (link it — skill beats a CV here).
